Liftin' Connector — Terms of Service
Effective date: July 23, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Liftin' Connector — the service that links AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex) to the workout data you track in the Liftin' iOS app. By connecting or using the Connector, you agree to these terms. The Liftin' iOS app has its own terms of use; these terms cover only the Connector.
Provider: nstrm AB, Sweden (5592700719) — "we", "us" Contact: support@liftinapp.co
1. The service
The Connector lets an AI assistant of your choice read your training data (workouts, programs, routines, and related information) from your private iCloud database and, at your direction, create or modify training programs, routines, and planned sets that appear in the Liftin' iOS app.
Using the Connector requires:
- the Liftin' iOS app, with your training data synced to iCloud;
- an Apple account with iCloud enabled ("Access iCloud Data on the Web" must be allowed; accounts with certain settings, such as Advanced Data Protection, may not be able to connect);
- an AI assistant that supports connectors/MCP integrations.
2. Sign-in and sessions
You authenticate by signing in with your Apple account directly with Apple. We never receive your Apple ID password. Apple limits how long a web session lasts (currently about 8 hours), so your assistant will periodically ask you to sign in again — this is expected behavior, not an error.
3. Your data
Your training data is stored in your private iCloud database and remains yours. The Connector processes it only to serve the requests you make through your assistant. How we handle data is described in the Liftin' Connector Privacy Policy. Data you request through your assistant becomes part of your conversation with that assistant and is governed by its provider's terms and privacy policy.
4. Training suggestions are not professional advice
The programs, weights, and training suggestions you receive in your AI assistant are generated by your assistant, informed by data the Connector provides. They are not medical, health, or professional coaching advice, and we do not review them.
- Always review suggested programs, weights, and progressions before training with them. Changes are only written to your data after you approve them in your conversation, and weights are easy to adjust in the app during a workout.
- Training involves inherent risk of injury. Use your own judgment about what is safe for you, and consult a physician before starting a training program, particularly if you have a medical condition.
- AI assistants can make mistakes. You are responsible for verifying that any plan you follow is appropriate for you.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Connector only with your own Liftin' data and for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not attempt to circumvent authentication or rate limits, probe or disrupt the service, access another person's data, or use the service in violation of applicable law. We may throttle or block traffic that threatens the service's reliability.
6. Availability and changes
The Connector is currently offered free of charge. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue the service (or introduce fees for future versions, with notice) at any time. The Connector depends on third-party services — Apple iCloud and your AI assistant's platform — whose behavior and availability are outside our control.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Connector is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Connector — including damages arising from training decisions based on AI-generated suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Connector at any time by disconnecting it in your AI assistant. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms. Sections 4, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continuing to use the Connector after a change means you accept the updated terms.
